Research and development on any aspect of agriculture.

In many instances certain factors affecting  the performance of a particular enterprise need investigation and information concerning the sustainability of that enterprise are not avaible . Or in cases where large farming enterprises require ongoing research in a diversity of specialist subjects  listed below, we can be of assistance and become actively engaged in this research

Soil and Plants: Many instances require  investigation of a  specific problems .

In the specific case of soils and plants, corrective fertilizer and lime requirements are determined by soil and plant analysis. In some cases the standard methods of diagnosis and interpretation of analysis, cannot identify the most limiting factor affecting the soils chemical content and a specific chemical imbalance  within the plant itself.

Such limiting factors can only be determined therefore by  in situ experimentation for a specific situation .In this case ,demonstration trails or statistically designed trials  may be required to assist in diagnosis and recommendation for  a specific problem on  specific farm to determine correct fertilizer  and lime treatments .

Production inputs:

Sometimes  Farmers do not reach their farm's potential because they are using the incorrect procedures with respect to input factors of production.

Although we work within the frame work of the Labour Act we do not get involved directly in Labour legal matters . Our input is limited to technical usage and appropriate appointments , methodology and technical training.

Measured Agriculture performs time and motion studies on request. The objective, in term of Machinery, is to establish and advise on type, amount ,methods and frequency of usage of production machinery such as tractors implements, harvesting and transport equipment

In baie gevalle is sekere faktore wat die prestasie van 'n bepaalde onderneming moet ondersoek en inligting oor die volhoubaarheid van die onderneming is nie beskikbaar nie .. Of in gevalle waar 'n groot boerdery ondernemings vereis voortgesette navorsing in' n verskeidenheid van spesialis vakke hieronder, ons kan van hulp wees en raak aktief betrokke by hierdie navorsing.
